Giang Pham

(she/they)
Major: Pre-Nursing

About Giang: Hi, nice to meet you all. My name is Giang, pronounced as “Zang”. This is my second year at Highline and I’m excited to transfer to a nursing school. Besides schoolwork, I enjoy outdoors activities and creating some art works.

Fun Fact: Even though my future professional is nursing, some people would assume that I’m a STEM student.

About Daniel: I am a Running Start student experienced with the ins and out’s of Highline College. Currently, I am taking Math 146 – Statistics, Psychology 250 – Research Methods, and Sociology 101. I love talking to new people and I’m looking forward to mentoring you!

Fun fact:  I have a bunch of hobbies that include skateboarding, weight lifting, cooking, online mental health mentorship experience, Track & Field + Cross Country, Photo/Video editing and recording, TV, Flim, and Music enjoyer, and video games.

About Iqra: I am a dedicated student pursuing my associate’s degree with aspirations to earn a master’s degree in the future. As the first person in my family to graduate college, I aim to make my parents proud and pave the way for others. My passion for helping others has been shaped by my work as a doula, serving immigrant communities and supporting mothers. I bring a strong belief in hope, perseverance, and faith, which I use to uplift those around me. As a peer mentor, I am excited to empower fellow students to achieve their goals and navigate their academic journeys.

Fun fact: I have experience working as a doula, helping pregnant mothers during labor and throughout their pregnancies, which has given me a deep appreciation for supporting others through life-changing moments.

My name is Roseline (“Rose-lyn”), I am an Elementary Education major at Highline. I enjoy reading, shopping, cooking, journaling, and art. My passion has always been to encourage people to thrive and helping others in my community in small ways.

Fun fact: I could spend hours getting lost in a good book—it’s like a mini-vacation for my brain.

About Quynh: I am an international student majoring in chemistry at Highline College. I want to be a peer mentor because i know what a difference having someone who has gone through similar experiences can make. I am here to help you with everything from adjusting to college to finding resources to make life easier. Whether answering questions, offering advice, being someone to talk to, of just being there to listen. I am here to support you. I’m excited to connect and make this a great experience for everyone.

I thrive in both indoor and outdoor environments and enjoy connecting with new people, always eager to listen to diverse stories.

Fun Fact: I can go from exploring the outdoors on an adventurous hike to diving into the quiet world of design and creativity—all in the same day! I thrive on this balance, as it keeps my mind energized and inspired.
